Last year, the S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator exploded, creating a dark matter storm that struck forensic scientist Barry Allen – bestowing him with super-speed and making him the fastest man alive. But Barry wasn’t the only person who was given extraordinary abilities that night. The dark matter also created meta-humans – many of whom have wreaked havoc on the city. With the help of the S.T.A.R Labs team, Caitlin Snow, Cisco Ramon and Dr. Harrison Wells, Barry protects the people of Central City from these powerful new threats as The Flash. Following the defeat of Allen’s arch-nemesis Eobard Thawne (aka Reverse Flash), Team Flash must quickly turn their attention to the singularity swirling high above Central City, consuming everything in its path. Armed with the heart of a hero and the ability to move at super speeds, Barry charged into the eye of the singularity, but can he actually save his city from impending doom?
Season 03, Episode 01 – “Flashpoint” Season 3 begins with Barry living his dream life and no longer having to be the one saving the city now that Kid Flash has taken over that duty. But soon disaster strikes and Barry must decide if he wants to continue to live in an alternate universe or return to his life as the Flash.
Season 03, Episode 02 – “Paradox” Barry realizes the effects from Flashpoint are much greater than he thought. Meanwhile, Barry meets new co-worker Julian Albert and is surprised by Julian’s immediate disdain for Barry.
Season 03, Episode 03 – “Magenta” Magenta, a new meta who can control metal, terrorizes the city. Meanwhile, Barry and Team Flash reunite with Earth-2 Wells and Jesse, who has the powers of a speedster, but Wells is concerned about her safety and wants her to stop using her powers.
Season 03, Episode 04 – “The New Rogues” Barry continues to train Jesse and when a new meta human, Mirror Master, appears on the scene he lets her tag along. But she defies one of Barry’s orders, which leads to disaster. Meanwhile, Mirror Master teams with his old partner, Top, and looks to even a score with Snart.
Season 03, Episode 05 – “Monster” Caitlin visits her mother, a renowned biomedical researcher, to see if she can help with her growing meta-human powers. But her mom treats her like a test subject, which results in a major confrontation. Meanwhile, a mysterious new meta-human attacks Central City, and Barry tries to convince Julian to let him assist on the case.
Season 03, Episode 06 – “Shade” When Wally starts having dreams about being Kid Flash, Barry realizes he has to tell Wally, Iris and Joe about what happened to Wally in Flashpoint in order to keep him safe.
Season 03, Episode 07 – “Killer Frost” Caitlin uses her powers to save Barry but, as her mother predicted, the effort unleashes her inner Killer Frost. Killer Frost then goes on a rampage looking for Dr. Alchemy, kidnapping Julian and battling both the Flash and Vibe. Meanwhile, Joe and H.R. have a heart-to-heart talk.
Season 03, Episode 08 – “Invasion!” A superhero crossover event continues with aliens attacking Central City and Barry asking the Green Arrow for help to stop them. But they soon realize the battle is bigger than they thought, so they track down the Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl to help. Once all of the super friends are assembled, they come up with a plan to attack but a shocking secret related to Flashpoint is revealed and suddenly no one is sure who they can trust
Season 03, Episode 09 – “The Present” Barry goes to Earth-3 to get advice from Jay Garrick on how to stop Savitar. Wally wants to help Barry fight Savitar and reveals that he’s been training with H.R., which doesn’t go over well with Barry. Meanwhile, old wound are reopened when Cisco faces his first Christmas without his brother Dante.
